The 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games press conference, held in Beijing, heralded the unveiling of the Games' emblem, introduced newly added events, and detailed the regulations. It was announced that the event will take place at the National Speed Skating Oval, affectionately known as the "Ice Ribbon." Comprising 22 main events and 5 peripheral events, the Games are categorized into three types: competition, performance, and scenario. Currently, an impressive 30 leading international robot teams have registered to compete in the football competition. Jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Government, China Media Group, and other esteemed partners, the Games are set to run from August 14th to 17th. This marks the world's inaugural comprehensive sporting event where humanoid robots are the primary participants.
