China's pioneering "High-end Non-ferrous Metal Materials Innovation Consortium" has unveiled its annual work report, revealing the formation of 26 research teams and notable breakthroughs across various sectors, including aerospace, electronic information, automotive, and maritime industries. The consortium has triumphantly overcome eight prevalent key technologies, among them mastering the control of residual stress in aluminum alloy for the C919 large aircraft. Additionally, it has resolved 18 technical challenges, earning the second prize at the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the prestigious first prize at the National Defense Science and Technology Award.
