According to data released on June 25, China's average temperature for the month of June reached 21.1℃, marking a 0.9℃ increase over the long-term average. This figure ties with 2022, making it the hottest June on record for the same period. Notably, regions such as Xinjiang, Sichuan, and Shandong experienced significantly elevated temperatures, with 17 meteorological stations reporting daily maximum temperatures exceeding 40℃, including Tongnan in Chongqing and Hejiang in Sichuan.
