The Iranian parliament has approved a bill to officially terminate cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), citing the agency's inaction during the United States' attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. In response, Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, remarked that Iran's decision is "understandable," adding that Russia is closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East and maintaining open communication channels with Iran. Previously, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs had announced that Iran would no longer cooperate with the IAEA as it had previously, accusing the agency of remaining silent in the face of the attack on peaceful nuclear facilities.
