Following its initial unveiling at the CES 2025 exhibition, the HDMI Forum has now officially released the comprehensive specification for the HDMI 2.2 standard. This specification confirms long-standing rumors, doubling the maximum bandwidth of HDMI 2.1 to an impressive 96 Gbps, thereby surpassing the capabilities of DisplayPort.
