In the latest iterations of Windows 11, including Build 26200.5661 (Dev Channel) and Build 26120.4452 (Beta Channel), Microsoft has broadened the customization options for the system tray's placement. Previously, the tray defaulted to the bottom center of the screen, but users can now relocate it to the top center or top-left corner. This enhancement enhances visibility, negating the need for users to glance down to check notifications. Customization can be easily managed under Settings > System > Notifications > Tray Position in Windows 11. This feature is anticipated to become officially available in the Windows 11 stable release within the next 2 to 3 months.
