The Yellow River Tunnel Project, located on Huanggang Road in Jinan, has triumphantly concluded the excavation of the Yellow River section, heralding a significant phase in the construction of the world's largest-diameter underwater shield tunnel. Leveraging advancements such as enhanced cutterhead opening rates, optimized tool configurations, and innovative waste slurry treatment methods, the project has adeptly navigated intricate geological challenges. Currently, the "Shanhe" shield tunneling machine has burrowed through 2,752 meters, representing an impressive 83% completion of the overall construction progress.
