Recent incidents of spontaneous combustion in domestic power banks have garnered significant attention. Following Romoss' recall of approximately 500,000 units, the renowned brand Anker has also taken action, proactively recalling over 700,000 units across seven models due to the potential risk of overheating and combustion in specific batches. Anker has urged users to cease using these affected products immediately. The recalls are attributed to issues with the raw materials used in the battery cells. In response, Anker Innovation has removed the implicated models from store shelves and offered compensation measures, including full refunds and upgrades to new products.
