The "Auspicious Bird" AC332 helicopter from the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) has recently accomplished a significant milestone by successfully completing its inaugural plateau autorotation landing test flight at Lugu Lake Airport in Ninglang, Yunnan Province. This pioneering test flight for domestic twin-engine helicopters validated the dependability of the AC332's autorotation landing design, affirming that its performance aligns with stringent airworthiness standards. During the test, the helicopter impressively executed an autorotation landing at an altitude of 3,658 meters.
