The August contract for ICE Brent crude oil futures closed $2.15 higher, marking an increase of over 2.8%, and was quoted at $78.85, nearing recent highs. The July contract for WTI crude oil futures also saw an uptick of 2.65%, temporarily reaching $77.13. Additionally, Middle Eastern Abu Dhabi Murban crude oil futures climbed 2.67%, temporarily trading at $78.88 per barrel.
