Douyin E-commerce has unveiled the progress of its merchant support initiatives for the initial five months of 2023, highlighting cumulative cost savings for merchants that have surpassed 11 billion yuan. Notably, in May alone, merchants benefited from cost savings exceeding 3 billion yuan. The specific measures undertaken include:
- Commission-free subsidies for product cards amounting to nearly 5.7 billion yuan.
- Savings of over 2.3 billion yuan achieved through reduced shipping insurance fees.
- Refunds and subsidies for Juhang Qianchuan initiatives.
Looking ahead, it is anticipated that these measures will further alleviate merchants' operational costs by an additional 1 billion yuan within the next year.
