China's largest and most advanced gas turbine has been successfully installed at the Anji Power Plant in Zhejiang Province, marking the official commencement of the installation phase. This groundbreaking project utilizes the enhanced 9HA.02 H-class gas-steam combined cycle unit, boasting an impressive efficiency rate of 64.15%. This represents a significant improvement of approximately 17% when compared to coal-fired units of a similar capacity. The gas turbine is anticipated to commence operations by the end of 2025, with each of the two turbines expected to generate up to 7 billion kWh of electricity annually, significantly contributing to China's green development initiatives.
