Scientists from the Institute of Zoology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in partnership with Xuanwu Hospital at Capital Medical University, have successfully engineered human anti-aging mesenchymal progenitor cells (SRC) and demonstrated their profound efficacy in delaying multi-organ aging in primate trials. This study reveals that SRC transplantation significantly enhances cognitive function in aged cynomolgus monkeys, mitigates degenerative lesions across multiple tissues, and exhibits remarkable safety and immune tolerance. This groundbreaking work surpasses the constraints of conventional therapies, achieving multi-organ synergistic anti-aging through innovative cell engineering strategies, and establishing a robust foundation for the clinical application of human allogenic stem cell transplantation.
