On June 12, Zhuhai MTU Aero Engines triumphantly handed over the inaugural PW1100G-JM engine to China Southern Airlines at its Jinwan facility. This facility, which commenced operations in March of this year, is a subsidiary of Zhuhai Free Trade Zone MTU Aero Engines Maintenance Co., Ltd., a joint venture formed by China Southern Airlines and MTU Aero Engines AG, focusing on MRO services for aero engines. This delivery signifies the complete operationalization of the Jinwan facility's infrastructure and equipment, as well as the successful enhancement of its state-of-the-art technological processes and next-generation production management system.
