Shanghai has announced its comprehensive development plan for onshore wind power and photovoltaic power stations by 2025, encompassing 19 proposed and ongoing projects with a combined capacity of 1,785,180 kilowatts. These projects are strategically located across Pudong New Area, Fengxian District, Chongming District, and the Lingang New Area, with Chongming District notably hosting 12 of these initiatives. All participating enterprises are mandated to uphold their core responsibilities, expedite preliminary project preparations, and ensure that onshore wind power projects secure approval by June 2026, while photovoltaic power stations commence construction by the same deadline.
