On June 9, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that, in an effort to curtail Russia's aerial strike capabilities, Ukrainian unmanned aerial systems (UAS) units conducted an attack on a military industrial complex located in the Chuvash Republic of Russia that produces navigation equipment. These products are integral to high-precision weaponry, including Russian offensive drones. The attack, which occurred in the early morning hours, resulted in at least two Ukrainian drones hitting their target, sparking a significant fire. The extent of Russian losses is currently being assessed.
