Xunlei has successfully acquired Shanghai Kuanghui Network Technology Co., Ltd., the entity behind the popular sports platform Hupu, for a total cash payment of RMB 500 million. Following this acquisition, Hupu will retain its existing management team and continue to operate autonomously. Meanwhile, Xunlei will extend its operational support to facilitate growth. Both parties envision leveraging their respective strengths through traffic integration, though detailed plans for business integration are still in the developmental stages.
