Recently, Baixiang instant noodles' 'Duoban Dai/Tongmian' series has garnered significant attention and controversy. Netizens have raised concerns over what they perceive as misleading advertising, pointing out that while the product promotes an enhanced portion size dubbed 'Duoyiban', the actual noodle block weighs merely 25 grams more than the standard version. Keen-eyed consumers have further noted that at the base of the packaging, it is stated that 'Duoban' is a registered trademark belonging to Baixiang Food. In response to these concerns, Baixiang has issued an official statement. The company clarifies that 'Duoban' products are indeed larger portions, based on an upgraded noodle block, and that the trademark registration was intended to differentiate these products from their regular counterparts. Baixiang extends its apologies for any confusion this may have caused and announces plans to adjust the packaging accordingly. It is worth mentioning that Baixiang has previously registered trademarks including 'Duoban' and 'Duoban Dai'.
