The European Union has recently unveiled the DNS4EU project, a groundbreaking initiative designed to fortify digital autonomy within the region. This project introduces a suite of European public DNS resolution services, offering an alternative to non-European entities like Google and Cloudflare. Managed by a coalition of multiple European countries, DNS4EU currently encompasses 14 nations and supports a variety of functions, including basic protection, child safety measures, and ad-blocking. This allows users to select the most suitable DNS resolution address tailored to their individual needs.
