On June 4th, the three major U.S. stock indexes closed with a mixed bag of results. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 0.22%, whereas the S&P 500 index inched up 0.01%, and the Nasdaq index gained 0.32%. Among the sectors within the S&P 500, communication services and materials emerged as leaders, driving the market upwards. Conversely, the energy and utility sectors led the way down.
