The White House has announced that President Trump has signed an executive order increasing tariffs on imported steel, aluminum, and their derivative products from 25% to 50%. This policy change will come into effect at 00:01 AM Eastern Time on June 4. Additionally, the tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from the United Kingdom will temporarily remain at 25%.
