China's largest integrated energy project, combining photovoltaic, hydrogen, and energy storage technologies, has achieved a significant milestone. Guohua Investment's 400-megawatt Rudong Photovoltaic-Hydrogen-Energy Storage Integration Project, situated in the Yudong Reclamation Area of Rudong County, Jiangsu Province, has been fully connected to the grid. As part of the nation's third batch of large-scale photovoltaic base projects, this initiative boasts an annual power generation capacity of 468 million kilowatt-hours, sufficient to meet the electricity demands of approximately 700,000 residents for an entire year.
Furthermore, the project incorporates complementary energy storage stations and hydrogen production and refueling facilities, fostering the local consumption and conversion of green electricity. This comprehensive approach not only enhances energy efficiency but also significantly contributes to China's green and low-carbon development goals.
