On April 13, Yizhuang, Beijing, will host the inaugural half marathon exclusively for humanoid robots. Recently, the participating robots, such as the Tiangong robot from the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center and the Songyan humanoid robot hailing from Changping, Beijing, completed their initial road test on the racecourse. This event adheres to the principle of "concurrent registration, identical course, and simultaneous start," with robots and human athletes sharing the same route but occupying separate lanes. To guarantee the seamless completion of the race by the robots, refueling stations and support teams will be strategically positioned throughout the course. This groundbreaking event serves as a benchmark for assessing the comprehensive scene adaptation capabilities of humanoid robots.
