Meta has issued euro-denominated bonds outside the United States for the first time, raising €9 billion and attracting €53 billion in subscription orders—a record for European corporate bond offerings. Citigroup and Morgan Stanley underwrote the bonds, which are split into six tranches with risk premiums higher than those of peers and of Meta's own dollar-denominated debt. Several leading technology companies have recently issued bonds in quick succession, and analysts view Meta's pricing as attractive, recommending that investors set aside funds to seize follow-on opportunities. On the day of issuance, Meta's share price rose 1.44%, bringing its market capitalization to $1.64 trillion.
