At the Android Dev Summit, Google announced plans to launch a new Quick Share SDK in the first half of 2027, along with a Quick Share iOS SDK for iPhone. Once available, apps on both Android and iOS will be able to integrate Quick Share functionality directly, letting users share files within the app itself—no need to go through the system-level share menu or the full-screen Quick Share interface.
