Bambu Lab has officially launched its third-generation flagship 3D printer, the H3C, with a standard kit starting at 16,499 yuan. A launch-day discount of 1,000 yuan brings the price down further, and with national subsidies stacked on top, it can go as low as 13,999 yuan. The H3C boasts three core technologies: the Swaptek™ multi-head instant switching system, the top-mounted integrated AMS 3H filament feeding system, and a variable-diameter extruder. It also achieves two industry firsts in the consumer market—stable printing of the softest filament, 75A TPU, and making layered color printing truly practical. Its nine printheads can complete a toolhead change within 6 seconds, with only 38 mg of filament waste per change, ensuring stable printing without manual calibration. The AMS 3H, integrated into the top of the machine, supports sealed filament drying and precise status monitoring, enabling drying while printing. It can connect to Bambu Lab's first-, second-, and third-generation AMS units for up to 24-color printing. The variable-diameter extruder adds a 2.85 mm filament path, boosting 75A TPU printing speed to 3–5 times that of conventional solutions. With these three technologies working in tandem, the H3C supports mixed rigid and flexible material printing and layered full-color printing. It can also mix nozzles of different sizes on the same print and automatically switch among multiple process toolheads, delivering a worry-free multi-color, multi-material printing experience. The H3C comes standard with nine printheads, and the compatible Bambu Lab Workstation L and Bambu Lab Air Purifier E1 are also being released simultaneously.
