Shenzhen Junrou Technology, a world-class brain-computer interface (BCI) human-computer interaction enterprise founded by a Chinese team, has recently completed nearly 100 million yuan in Angel+ round financing. The round was led by Shunwei Capital, with participation from Gaorong Ventures, Zhiyuan Robotics, Nansha Qisheng, and other institutions. The proceeds will be primarily allocated to finalizing the process for its "Neural Worm" dynamic electrode, establishing a GMP production line, advancing animal experiments, and iterating its neural signal algorithm system. Founded in 2025, the company is dedicated to fully self-developed technology across the entire BCI chain and has built deep technical expertise in the field. Its original "Neural Worm" dynamic electrode technology yielded achievements that represent China's first Nature main journal paper in the BCI electrode field. The fabricated hundred-micron-scale fiber electrode can be implanted through a millimeter-scale minimally invasive cranial opening. Leveraging pioneering magnetically controlled peristaltic drive technology, the electrode can navigate in a controllable three-dimensional manner within the skull after implantation, enabling coverage of multiple brain regions with a single implantation and non-invasive position calibration. Building on the same-origin flexible sensing platform, the company has also developed a flexible multi-dimensional force electronic skin that can be attached to robots, providing tactile feedback for humanoid robots. Its underlying flexible sensing and materials platform can simultaneously support two major directions: diagnosis and treatment of multi-brain-region neurological diseases on the medical side, and supplementation of robot tactile perception on the embodied intelligence side. The company is well-positioned to occupy a long-term ecological niche in the industrialization of brain-computer interfaces and to participate in building the world's next-generation human-computer interaction infrastructure.
