Some users have discovered that Apple's iOS 27.2 can effectively block shake-to-open ads, but it cannot intercept the shake-to-open ad redirects within the Baidu Netdisk app. Reverse engineering analysis by developers revealed that when the system prohibits access to motion data, Baidu Netdisk's ad framework can switch to other sensors to determine phone rotation. Sources familiar with the matter indicated that Baidu Netdisk's business did not deliberately bypass this feature; rather, the new version had not yet passed review by the Apple App Store. After Baidu Netdisk iOS version 13.36.5 was released, testing showed that this version can now be blocked by iOS 27.2's motion data restriction feature from redirecting through shake-to-open ads.
