According to the latest analysis by BNP Paribas, if SpaceX decides to independently build a mobile communication network covering the entire United States, it would require at least $100 billion in investment before generating revenue, and this estimate does not include the costs of radio spectrum acquisition and financing. The bank believes that SpaceX is facing a critical strategic choice: whether to invest massive capital in building its own network or to reach a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) agreement with existing operators like T-Mobile to provide services using existing infrastructure. Once SpaceX signs large-scale, irrevocable base station lease contracts, its flexibility for future strategic adjustments will be significantly reduced.
