On October 9th, JPMorgan Chase analysts revealed in a report that SpaceX plans to acquire Grain Management's nationwide wireless spectrum portfolio to expand its mobile communication business footprint. The low-frequency spectrum proposed for acquisition has strong penetration capabilities, enabling broader network coverage and complementing the mid-band spectrum SpaceX is acquiring from EchoStar. The latter offers higher bandwidth capacity, enhancing the long-term development potential of Starlink Mobile. JPMorgan Chase believes this move indicates SpaceX's ambitions for its mobile communication business extend beyond mobile phones to areas such as the Internet of Things, autonomous vehicles, and robotics, ultimately achieving 'Internet of Everything.' Analysts also stated that it would be reasonable for SpaceX to continue acquiring more low-frequency spectrum assets in the future.
