SpaceX CEO Elon Musk took aim at Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian, asserting that Bastian’s refusal to consider Starlink services could ultimately jeopardize his position. Earlier, users on the social media platform X circulated comments made by Bastian during a company event, in which he voiced his reluctance to partner with Musk and subtly suggested there might be substance to the rumors surrounding Musk. In a pointed response, Musk not only predicted that Bastian’s stance could lead to his dismissal but also posted a message ridiculing Delta’s underwhelming in-flight internet service. Musk had previously cautioned Delta that failing to adopt Starlink could result in a loss of customers. Meanwhile, Delta’s rivals, including United Airlines and Alaska Airlines, have already rolled out Starlink services.
