The event gathered eminent academicians and experts from the global scientific instruments and sensors sector, prestigious universities and research institutions, as well as leading industry players. Together, they delved into core issues including pioneering technological advancements, the commercialization of innovative outcomes, the establishment of industrial ecosystems, and emerging industry trends.

Lan Xiongjing, a member of the Standing Committee and Deputy Head of the Huairou District Party Committee in Beijing, unveiled an opportunity list at the conference for the policy scenarios platform of the high-end scientific instruments and sensors industry. This list outlined the development milestones, resource assurances, shared platforms, open scenarios, and tailored policies of Beijing's high-end scientific instruments and sensors industry cluster, offering a comprehensive overview of development prospects. Concurrently, the Beijing High-End Scientific Instruments and Sensors Opportunity List was rolled out. The 2026 (first batch) procurement opportunity list featured over 10 items, with a total procurement value nearing RMB 400 million. It encompassed more than 40 technical capabilities for application scenarios, breakthroughs in over 60 pivotal core technologies, and 40 key products, such as high-end spectrometers and scanning probe microscopes, which have achieved leading positions both domestically and internationally.

Furthermore, the application guidelines for the 'Several Measures for Precisely Supporting the Innovative Development of the Scientific Instruments and Sensors Industry in Huairou Science City' were formally announced. These measures aim to bolster the full-chain development in areas like optoelectronics, cryogenics, vacuum technology, electron microscopy, mass spectrometry, imaging, and intelligent sensing.
