Google is working on testing Flatpak packaging support for Chrome and Chromium on the Linux platform. If this change is implemented, it will provide users with a new official installation method in addition to the existing native RPM and DEB installation packages, and is expected to improve the situation where Chromium-based applications have long lacked official Flatpak support.
