On August 26, the Information Office of the State Council convened a press conference centered on the theme of “Initiating the 15th Five-Year Plan”. During the event, pertinent officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology highlighted that the development of 6G will be a focal point throughout the 15th Five-Year Plan period. China is set to expedite research and development efforts in core 6G technologies, persist in conducting technical trials and formulating standards, foster industrial maturation and ecosystem development, and establish a solid foundation for the eventual commercialization of 6G.
