Hunan Yuteng has declared its intention to invest in and develop the Guizhou Yuteng (Weng'an) Comprehensive Industrial Project for Mineralization and Recycling of New Energy Battery Materials, situated in Weng'an County, Guizhou Province. The total investment for this ambitious endeavor is estimated at around 24 billion yuan. The project is anticipated to span a construction period of five years, with an initial investment of 5 to 8 billion yuan expected within the first 18 months following the official project kick-off. Future investments will be adaptively modified in response to market demand fluctuations.

The project's core scope encompasses the production of 800,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate, 1 million tons of iron phosphate, along with its upstream industrial chain. This includes the processing of phosphorus sources, iron sources, lithium carbonate, and the recycling of lithium batteries. This strategic investment is aimed at bolstering the company's holistic industry layout and reinforcing its dominant position within the sector. Nevertheless, the project is not without its challenges, as it confronts various risks encompassing construction, financial, market demand, and management aspects.
