On the morning of July 17, Song Tao, the ex-co-founder, executive vice president, and COO of Dobot Technology, publicly lodged a real-name complaint against Dobot Technology and its founder, Liu Peichao. He alleged significant equity irregularities and concealment in the company's A-share prospectus. The Shenzhen Stock Exchange has acknowledged receipt of the relevant complaint materials. Song Tao revealed that, as the company's second co-founder, he had previously set aside equity disputes due to the suspension of the Hong Kong stock listing, but could no longer overlook them. He pointed out that, according to the equity change planning document issued by Yuejiang Partnership in January 2023, he was entitled to a 69.7373% stake. However, the prospectus only disclosed a 22.455% stake under his name, leaving a discrepancy of nearly 47.28%. Furthermore, the company allegedly concealed the "Yuejiang Partnership Change Commitment Letter" and the equity ownership disputes. Song Tao refuted the statements made in the prospectus, clarifying that the court merely ruled that the dispute did not fall under its jurisdiction and did not make a determination on equity ownership. He argued that the company's selective quoting of judicial documents was misleading the market. Currently, Song Tao has submitted a complete set of evidence and intends to provide clues to the China Securities Regulatory Commission and other relevant departments. He also plans to pursue arbitration and civil litigation to confirm equity ownership, emphasizing that all his statements are substantiated by written documentation.
