Recently, according to local authoritative media reports in Nigeria, the largest lithium ore processing plant in the West African region has officially commenced operations in Nasarawa State (statistics based on raw ore processing). The plant, operated by the Chinese enterprise Diamond Energy Group, has a daily processing capacity of 6,000 tons of lithium raw ore and an annual production capacity of 3 million tons, equivalent to approximately 30,000 tons of lithium carbonate equivalent. A reporter learned from sources close to Jiuling Lithium and Tianhua New Energy that the shareholders behind Diamond Energy Group are Jiangxi Jiuling Lithium Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Tianhua New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with each company holding a 50% stake.
