On July 4, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) of India formally issued a notice to the instant messaging service Telegram. The notice urges Telegram to intensify its measures against the dissemination of pirated films, OTT series, and other copyrighted audiovisual materials on its platform. Additionally, Telegram is required to submit a report outlining the actions taken within 15 days.
