On July 3, 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology decided to establish the Technical Committee for Quantum Information Standardization, numbered MIIT/TC10. This committee is primarily responsible for the formulation and revision of industry standards in fields such as foundational commonalities, quantum computing, quantum communication, and quantum precision measurement. The first session of the committee consists of 62 members, with the secretariat located at the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.
