Following the successful acquisition and subsequent closure of the Yidao New Energy Project, TCL Zhonghuan has secured a robust production capacity, boasting 20GW for batteries and 50GW for modules. In a strategic move to cater to the burgeoning market demand for high-efficiency BC module products and bolster its overall competitive edge, the company has outlined a comprehensive investment plan. Specifically, it intends to allocate 1.4 billion yuan towards upgrading the existing battery production facilities at its Quzhou and Xinzhou sites, aiming to achieve a formidable 20GW BC battery production capacity. Concurrently, TCL Zhonghuan will channel 1.2 billion yuan into enhancing the module production capabilities at its Yixing, Tianjin, Quzhou, Jingshan, and Zhangzhou locations, with the goal of reaching a substantial 25GW BC module production capacity. This strategic initiative received the green light from the company's 23rd meeting of the seventh board of directors on July 2, 2026, and notably, does not necessitate approval from the shareholders' meeting.
