On June 29, 2026, news emerged that CAYE Technology, a prominent brand specializing in commercial fully automatic coffee machines, has successfully concluded its Series B funding round, raising nearly 400 million yuan. This funding initiative was spearheaded by Meituan Longzhu, with significant contributions from Brain Capital, Hillhouse Venture Capital, and Suzhou Innovation Investment Group. This marks the largest single financing event in the commercial fully automatic coffee machine industry thus far.

Established in December 2022, CAYE Technology has revamped key processes, including coffee grinding and powder weight management, through its proprietary Bionic Barista system. Its offerings have already been integrated into the outlets of several renowned coffee chain brands. For instance, the Smart Y model boasts a compliance rate exceeding 95%, significantly outperforming the industry average of 70%.

From a technological standpoint, CAYE Technology has achieved complete self-reliance in the research and development of core components, ensuring technological autonomy. Moreover, it has seamlessly integrated high-precision manufacturing supply chain capabilities from diverse sectors. To date, the company has filed over 300 patents, with a technology conversion rate surpassing 70%.

In the market, CAYE Technology's flagship X-series models have been sold in more than 80 countries and regions globally. Its domestic sales have eclipsed the cumulative total of similar imported brands over the past decade. Regarding production capacity, the Suzhou facility has projected an annual output of over 40,000 units. Meanwhile, the new 38,000-square-meter plant currently under construction is expected to achieve an annual delivery target of 100,000 units by 2028.

The proceeds from this funding round will be allocated towards core technology R&D, expansion of production facilities, growth in domestic and international markets, and the establishment of a comprehensive global after-sales service system.
