On June 26th, it was reported that SpaceX has disclosed to investors its plan to launch a brand-new Starlink mobile service for US consumers. During the IPO roadshow, SpaceX President and Chief Operating Officer Gwynne Shotwell stated that the company is considering launching a Starlink retail product, potentially building its own ground-based mobile network covering the US, but would need to sell mobile contracts to individual users.
