On April 13, a research report released by CITIC Construction Investment highlighted that, commencing in late April, China’s commercial space sector is set to embark on a concentrated phase of testing for reusable rockets. The major highlights of this period include the expected maiden voyage of the Long March 10B rocket on April 28 from Wenchang, which will also feature an attempt to employ maritime net recovery technology. Concurrently, the ZQ-3 Yao-2 rocket is scheduled to make another bid for first-stage recovery within the second quarter. Should these tests prove successful, they will substantially lower the cost per launch, thereby propelling the advancement of commercial space initiatives. Moreover, the ongoing backing from commercial space policies in various regions offers robust support for the sector’s growth.
