On April 10, Wincheng Pharmaceuticals announced the completion of an over-subscribed $54 million Series A financing round, co-led by Qiming Venture Partners and a well-known industry fund, with participation from HighLight Capital and others. Existing shareholder InnoVision Capital also made an additional investment. The company focuses on the research and development of extrahepatic targeted small nucleic acid drugs, and the funds will be used for the optimization of the delivery technology platform, clinical advancement of its pipeline, and the construction of its team and global R&D network.
