JD.com is gearing up to introduce a groundbreaking service known as the 'Open Travel Service' and has already commenced internal testing in Jinan. The App's interface design closely mirrors that of leading ride-hailing applications, and it is presently in the midst of grayscale testing. This venture represents a collaborative effort between Changan and JD.com. In a departure from the conventional aggregated platform approach, JD.com might venture into a novel travel model that integrates 'e-commerce + automakers'. Prior to this development, a search for 'ride-hailing' on JD.com would yield an option for 'domestic ride-hailing services,' which, upon selection, redirected users to the 'Yiqi Travel' mini-program. However, this option was swiftly removed. The mini-program previously provided a range of ride-hailing services, serving as a gateway to numerous online car-hailing platforms.
