On March 30th, Zhiyuan Robotics made an exciting announcement: its 10,000th general-purpose embodied robot had successfully rolled off the assembly line. This achievement came just over three months after the production of the 5,000th unit, marking a significant acceleration in their manufacturing capabilities. During the roll-off ceremony, Peng Zhihui (also known as Zhihui Jun), the co-founder, president, and CTO of Zhiyuan Robotics, highlighted that general-purpose embodied robots are poised to enter a phase of large-scale implementation by 2026. He underscored that true scalability for these robots lies not only in their ability to perform diverse tasks but also in their capacity to operate continuously for 24 hours in industrial settings.
