On March 20th, news emerged that the Shanghai Stock Exchange had officially accepted the Initial Public Offering (IPO) application submitted by Unitree Robotics Co., Ltd. for listing on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, with a proposed fundraising target of 4.202 billion yuan. According to the publicly available response to the second round of inquiry letters, Unitree Robotics has outlined a strategic roadmap for model iteration. The company aims to introduce a ‘General-Purpose Humanoid Robot Embodied Foundation Model’ within the next three years. This innovative model is designed to demonstrate exceptional generalization capabilities across four key dimensions: scene adaptation, instruction comprehension, action execution, and task fulfillment. By leveraging these capabilities, the model is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency and standardization of vertical scenarios in production, manufacturing, and various other sectors, thereby establishing a seamless and comprehensive closed-loop system encompassing ‘cloud-based model training, end-side inference execution, and online data collection’.
