Xiaohongshu has officially declared the commencement of registrations for its maiden ‘Hackathon Summit’. The offline finals of this event are slated to unfold from April 7th to 10th at the Zhangjiang Science Hall in Shanghai, signifying Xiaohongshu's most significant offline tech gathering of the year.
Throughout the event, around 200 participants will be split into hardware and software divisions. They will be tasked with crafting their tech innovations within a 48-hour timeframe. Subsequently, they will showcase their projects through roadshows and engage in Q&A sessions to vie for accolades. The competition boasts a total prize pool of 500,000 yuan, encompassing a grand prize along with awards for five distinct categories.
Over the past year, Xiaohongshu's tech content ecosystem has witnessed remarkable expansion. By the end of 2025, tech-centric content has seen a year-on-year surge of over 100%, while the number of creators has soared by more than 200%.
