On March 18, 2026, the Zhejiang Jiande GCL Pumped Storage Power Station project, invested and constructed by GCL New Energy, signed a 10 billion yuan syndicated loan agreement. Eight financial institutions will provide a 32-year loan totaling 10 billion yuan. As the largest pumped storage power station in Eastern China by installed capacity, the project has a total investment exceeding 12.5 billion yuan. The main construction commenced in September 2024, with full-capacity operation expected before 2030.
