Following closely were Jilin Chemical Fiber, Jilin Carbon Valley, and Zhongjian Technology. Zhongfu Shenying, a subsidiary of China National Building Material Group, has officially commenced production of its independently developed SYT80 (T1200 grade) ultra-high-strength carbon fiber. This breakthrough positions the company at the forefront of the global industry, pioneering the mass production of carbon fiber on a hundred-ton scale.
The carbon fiber boasts a diameter less than one-tenth that of a human hair, yet it exhibits a remarkable tensile strength of 8000MPa, which is tenfold that of conventional steel. Moreover, its density is merely one-fourth that of steel, endowing it with exceptional properties such as high-temperature and corrosion resistance.
